Robots to Manage E-Challans in Karachi

Karachi Traffic Police has decided to deploy robots to issue e-challans under the city’s ongoing E-Tracks system.

DIG Traffic Peer Muhammad Shah ne bataya ke ek naya tareeka e-challan issue karne ka introduce kiya ja raha hai — is baar robots ke through.

Agla mahina se, “No Parking” aur “No Two-Lane” signboards city ke roads, jaise ke Saddar aur Tariq Road par install kiye jayenge. Ye robots 20 km/h ki speed se patrol karenge.

Shah ne kaha ke robots automatically vehicles scan karenge, aur jo cars parking ya traffic rules violate karengi, unko directly e-challan system ke through bhej diya jayega.

Unhone ye bhi mention kiya ke sirf do hafton mein, E-Tracks system implement hone ke baad, Karachi ke lagbhag 50,000 motorists already traffic violations ke liye fined ho chuke hain.
